In the two-stage solvent process the oil and polyalcohol are first turned into monoglyceride at about 240–260 °C, then reacted with phthalic anhydride; the resin is thinned, blended, filtered and filled into 100 kg barrels for paint makers.
Capacity: 1,800 kg a day; 5,40,000 kg (5,400 barrels of 100 kg) a year at full capacity (report plans 40% in year 1 to 60% in year 5).
