§1What this business is

Faucet bodies, handles and end caps are gravity die-cast from brass, zinc or aluminium alloys, trimmed, tumbled and machined. Towel rings and bars, shelves, hooks and curtain rods are cut, bent, welded and drilled from pipes, rods and sheets. Parts are chrome plated, anodised or powder coated, then assembled and packed. Die-cast parts can also be bought from a foundry to your own design.

Capacity: About 7,50,000 pieces or 300 tonnes of bathroom fittings a year; runs at 40% in year 1 and 80% in year 5. Faucets sell at ₹150–3,000 a piece depending on design.
