Straightened MS wires (2 to 5.6 mm) are fed side by side into an automatic welder, a cross wire is laid across them and every joint is electrically welded; the mesh moves forward and the process repeats, and the mesh is rolled or cut. It is used for fencing, partitions, machine guards and as reinforcement in concrete roads, runways and buildings.
Capacity: 4,500 kg of mesh a day (8 hours, 300 days) = 13,50,000 kg a year; year 1 planned at 40%.
