The story
Infopark was launched by the Kerala government in 2004 at Kakkanad, Kochi, to bring IT jobs to the state's commercial capital. Large IT services firms and many mid-size companies set up campuses, followed by SmartCity Kochi next door. Kochi's port, airport and metro help draw firms. Infopark Phase II and the Cherthala satellite campus extend the cluster.
