§2Eligibility

  1. Cashew processing industries with valid Udyam registration in green or orange category.
  2. Minimum 60% Goan manpower in regular employment.
  3. Goan = born in Goa, or 10-year residence certificate from Mamlatdar, or other residence document issued 10+ years earlier to the Task Force Committee's satisfaction.
  4. Wages at least the minimum notified by Labour Dept for unskilled cashew workers.

§3Benefits

  • 50% of total wages paid to eligible Goan employees, max Rs 7,000 per Goan employee per month and Rs 10 lakh per enterprise per year, for 5 consecutive years.

§4Norms — pattern of assistance

  1. Claim for a calendar year by 31 March of the next year.
  2. DITC physical verification; Task Force Committee recommends; Director decides within one month.
