§2Eligibility
- Minimum direct employment for MSME service units: Group A&B 350; C 250; D 150; D+ 125; Vidarbha/Marathwada/Ratnagiri/Sindhudurg/Jalgaon/Dhule 100; No Industry/Naxal/Aspirational 50
- Jobs must be on roll and in premises all year; at least 80% local persons (GR dated 17.11.2008)
- Minimum jobs to be created within 2 years of starting services
§3Benefits
- EPF: 50% of employer contribution for 5 years — salaries above Rs 50,000/month in D/D+ and below; above Rs 75,000 in C; above Rs 1 lakh in A&B; cap Rs 10 crore per unit, first 500 units
- Rental lease subsidy up to 50%: max Rs 1 crore (D/D+), Rs 10 crore (C), Rs 20 crore (A&B); first 20 units per district within 5 years
- Electricity duty exemption 5 years (C/D/D+), 3 years (A&B)
§4Norms — pattern of assistance
- Stamp duty (100% in C/D/D+; 50% in A&B on first lease) and skilling subsidy (50% up to Rs 1–2 crore, max 100 employees) apply only to Mega and Ultra-Mega service units
