Mizoram utility subsidies

1. New enterprise located in Mizoram (commercial operation on/after commencement of IIP 2025)
2. Udyam Registration and State registration under formalisation scheme or verified under RAMP
3. At least 50% employees bona fide citizens of Mizoram (regular, contractual or daily)

Files GST returns

1. Not on negative list: tobacco products; non-biodegradable plastic below 120 micron; liquor except wine/beer permitted under Mizoram Liquor (Prohibition) Amendment Act 2025
2. Undertaking to run the unit at least 5 years after subsidy, else full refund; declaration that subsidy is refundable if false information/fake documents
3. Separate commercial power/water connection; no subsidy on domestic-category consumption
4. Penalty/interest for late bill payment not eligible

• Power: 60% (micro) / 25% (small) / 15% (medium) of power bill, max ₹20 lakh per year, 5 years
• Water: 60% / 25% / 15%, max ₹10 lakh per year, 5 years
• Power line and transformer: 50% of actual cost, max ₹5 lakh per unit (claim within 1 year of operation)
• Captive generating set incl. renewable: 50% of cost and installation, max ₹7 lakh per unit, brand-new set, within 5 years

1. Yearly claims within one year; no claim after lapse of one year
2. Only shortfall if subsidy taken under another scheme

• Application form for claim of State Incentive Subsidy (Part A: unit details, investment, power need, NIC code)

• Copy of Consent to Operate from Mizoram Pollution Control Board

Copy of registration of incorporation

• Power: copies of power bills for claim period; receipts countersigned by P&E Department officer not below SDO
• Water: copies of water bills; receipts verified by PHE officer not below SDO; meter reading sheet (if applicable)
