The government is making this product the identity of the district — clusters, training, marketing and export support go to it first. Starting a business in this product is often the easiest route.
§3Subsidy zone
Blocks / areas: Bhandara, Pauni, Tumsar, Mohadi, Sakoli, Lakhandur, Lakhani
MSME overall ceiling 70% of FCI, 10 years (Table 4). Separately, units anywhere in Vidarbha, Marathwada, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Jalgaon & Dhule get 80% ceiling for 10 years; No Industry Districts, Naxalism-affected areas and Aspirational Districts (Dharashiv, Gadchiroli, Washim, Nandurbar) get 100% for 10 years. Stamp duty 100% only in Group C/D/D+ and below (50% in A/B); electricity duty exemption only in C/D/D+ (A/B only for 50%-export EOUs or women/SC/ST/PwD-owned units); power tariff Rs 1/unit and EPF reimbursement only in D/D+ and below.
