§2Eligibility

  1. Person notified as SC/ST of Chhattisgarh by GoI, native of the state, holding a permanent caste certificate from the competent authority
  2. All general IDP conditions (Udyam Aakanksha, production certificate, ineligible list, domicile hiring) apply

§3Benefits

  • Interest subsidy general 45/50/55% for 6/7/8 years; thrust 50/55/60% for 6/7/8 years; yearly caps micro up to Rs 35 lakh, small up to Rs 45 lakh, medium up to Rs 55 lakh
  • Electricity duty exempt general 6/8/10 years, thrust 7/9/11 years
  • Stamp duty 100% on land/building and loan deeds (3 years)
  • Margin money 25% on new micro/small units up to Rs 10 crore investment, max Rs 100 lakh
  • Export transport subsidy 50% up to Rs 60 lakh/year for 5 years
  • 100% land premium exemption in DI/CSIDC areas; lease rent Rs 1/acre/year
  • 10% extra over MSME general/service rates (with 10% higher cap) for registration fee, diversion fee, project report, quality, patent, technology purchase, employment, carbon credit, audit and training subsidies

  2. FCI subsidy instalments: micro 1, small 3, medium 5 annual

Merits

  • Up to 50% FCI subsidy for thrust micro units in Group-3 blocks (Reference Guide p.42)
  • Land in state industrial areas at Rs 1/acre/year lease (p.43)

Demerits

  • Benefit tied to Chhattisgarh-issued certificate; SC/ST persons from other states do not qualify (definition 8)
