Founders who need a government industrial plot in J&K.

Founders using own or rented private premises.

Each district divided into Zone A and Zone B at block / municipal level; land rates notified per zone.
Processing fee: up to 1 acre Rs 10,000; above 1 to 5 acres Rs 25,000; above 5 acres Rs 50,000.
DPR mandatory with application; Divisional Level Appraisal Committee screens within 30 days.
Allotment committee: projects up to Rs 50 crore - Divisional Level; Rs 50-200 crore - High Level; above Rs 200 crore - Apex Level; decision within 45 days of recommendation.
100% land premium to be paid within 60 days through Single Window (brochure).

Secondary summary (Laafon) lists DPR contents: promoter qualifications/experience, products and market, land area and break-up, layout plan, implementation schedule, process flowchart, projected financials, sources of finance, employment, power and water need, last 3 years' balance sheets and promoters' IT returns, registration documents

Full premium due within 60 days - heavy upfront cash for small units (brochure).
