The story

Jamnagar's brass trade grew from craftsmen working with scrap brass that came in through the nearby ports. Small foundries, extrusion units, machine shops and electroplaters now work as one chain, turning imported scrap into precision parts. The city supplies components to electrical, plumbing, automobile, railway and defence buyers in India and abroad.
