The story
Mirzapur, on the Ganga next to Bhadohi, has two old crafts. Metal workers cast and beat brass and bell-metal utensils that are sold across North India for homes and temples. Weavers in its villages make handmade durries and carpets as part of the Bhadohi-Mirzapur carpet belt.
