How to start

  1. Get an Import Export Code (IEC) from DGFT online; it is free and linked to your PAN.
  2. Register with EEPC India and get your RCMC (Registration-cum-Membership Certificate) through the DGFT e-RCMC system.
  3. Gulf and African projects buy wires, cables and switchgear through contractors; register as a vendor with them.
  4. Get the target-country certification before quoting; many tenders reject uncertified goods.
