The story
Noida and Greater Noida, next to Delhi, became India's largest base for mobile phone manufacturing after national incentive schemes drew global and Indian brands to set up factories here. Large assembly plants are surrounded by suppliers of chargers, batteries, cases, packaging and printed circuit board assembly. Land near the upcoming Jewar airport has been set aside for semiconductor units.
