The story
Pratapgarh is known as the aonla district of Uttar Pradesh, with large orchards of Indian gooseberry. Farmers and small processors turn the fruit into murabba, candy, juice, powder and pickles sold across India. Aonla products are Pratapgarh's ODOP product, and Pratapgarh aonla has a GI tag.
