- BIS Standard Mark (ISI) is compulsory under the Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2024: IS 277:2018, IS 15961, IS 14246, IS 15965, IS 18513 and others. Each consignment needs a test certificate from a BIS-licensed maker.
