How to start

  1. Get an Import Export Code (IEC) from DGFT online; it is free and linked to your PAN.
  2. Register with the Carpet Export Promotion Council and get your RCMC (Registration-cum-Membership Certificate) through the DGFT e-RCMC system.
  3. Work with weaver groups through a master weaver and offer designs on order; attend the India Carpet Expo run by CEPC.
  4. Keep a record of every loom and weaver; buyers audit labour.
