The story
Nathdwara grew around the Shrinathji temple, and painters made pichhwai cloth hangings showing Krishna for the shrine and pilgrims. In nearby Molela, potters make terracotta plaques of folk deities for village shrines. Pilgrims, tourists and art collectors are the main buyers today.
